Interim bail bestowed upon Imran Khan by IHC in contempt of court case.














 Islamabad High Court has issued Ex-PM Imran Khan interim pre-arrest bail in a case involving threats aimed at Zeba Chaudary a female judge at one of the PTI's anti-government rallies at F-9 park in Islamabad on August 20th.

On September 30th, arrest warrants were issued for Imran Khan. This news quickly spread, and thousands of Imran's fans rushed to his residence to make sure that their leader remained safe. His supporters reminded the coalition-led government that Imran Khan was their red line.

The interior minister, Rana Sana Ullah, told the media that the warrant was just issued to ensure Imran's presence at the next hearing and that it was a standard procedure.

The IHC opened on Sunday, and Judge Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani granted Imran Khan interim pre-arrest bail till October 7 against surety bonds of Rs10,000. The PTI leader has been ordered to appear before the relevant court.

Imran Khan stated that the charge against him is a full political plot and that it is one of many cheap tactics used by the government to destroy his peaceful political movement.
